Held on October 25, 2024, during the India CSR and ESG Summit, the consultation, organized by The Godavari Initiative (TGI) to address the ecological challenges of the Godavari River Basin. Discussions focused on sustainable water management, climate resilience, and collective action, leading to the development of the TGI Collective Action Charter.

A key highlight was the launch of the Godavari Gallery, featuring interactive exhibits and a VR experience that took attendees on a journey to the river’s source, showcasing its challenges and the urgent need for conservation. Panel discussions and presentations explored water stewardship, climate resilience, and innovative water management practices.

Shri Mukesh Sinha, Chairman, Godavari River Management Board, and leaders from Diageo India, Schneider Electric, and Carlsberg emphasized the need for a unified approach. The event concluded with all partners reinforcing multi-stakeholder commitment to preserving and revitalizing the Godavari River Basin.
